It is almost impossible to prevail in a case alleging ADHD as an impairment, even though most cases involve children. However, normally people with ADHD will end up with a mental disorder that is more serious such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Once these more serious disorders develop, it is somewhat easier to show functional limitations and prove the case.
